Dharwad, Aug. 17: “Nagar Panchami is a Hindu festival. It is a festival celebrated all over the country. It has a special place in Karnataka. On this day, it is customary to worship a snake by pouring milk on it and praying to Nagadev to fulfil all one’s wishes. May Nagar Panchami bring happiness, prosperity and joy to everyone’s life,” said teacher Sri Anand Patil, wishing everyone well and explaining the mythological background of the Nagar Panchami festival. He spoke as the Chief Spokesperson of the Nagar Panchami festival held at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Dharwad, Neeralkatti. Sri Harsha Bhat performed the puja. Srujan B. sang a devotional song.
ಧಾರವಾಡ, ಆ. 17: “ನಾಗರ ಪಂಚಮಿಯು ಹಿಂದುಗಳ ಹಬ್ಬ. ದೇಶದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಆಚರಿಸುವ ಹಬ್ಬವಾಗಿದೆ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಮಹತ್ವದ ಸ್ಥಾನವಿದೆ. ಈ ದಿನ ಹಾವಿಗೆ ಹಾಲೆರೆದು ಪೂಜಿಸಿ, ಸಕಲ ಇಷ್ಟಾರ್ಥಗಳು ಪ್ರಾಪ್ತಿಯಾಗುವಂತೆ ನಾಗದೇವರನ್ನು ಬೇಡುವುದು ವಾಡಿಕೆ. ನಾಗರ ಪಂಚಮಿಯು ಎಲ್ಲರ ಬಾಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಖ, ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿ, ಸಂತೋಷವನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಿ” ಎಂದು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ ಶ್ರೀ ಆನಂದ ಪಾಟೀಲ ಇವರು ಶುಭ ಹಾರೈಸಿ, ನಾಗರ ಪಂಚಮಿ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಪೌರಾಣಿಕ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ -ಧಾರವಾಡ, ನೀರಲಕಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ನಾಗರ ಪಂಚಮಿ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ವಕ್ತಾರರಾಗಿ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಶ್ರೀ ಹರ್ಷಾ ಭಟ್ ಪೂಜಾ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದರು. ಸೃಜನ್ ಬಿ. ಭಕ್ತಿಗೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿದರು.
