Dharwad, June 27: A school parliament was formed herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Dharwad, Neeralkatti.
• First, the steps of filing nominations, scrutiny of nominations, withdrawal of nominations, election campaign, vote counting, etc. were followed as per the election rules.
• On this occasion, the principal of the school, Dr Anita Rai, administered the oath to the candidates elected to the school parliament and said, “The school is conducting elections every year to create awareness among the students about electoral values. This helps the children develop leadership qualities in themselves and also helps them to create awareness about voting.”
• The school’s social science teachers had taken the entire responsibility of forming the parliament.
ಧಾರವಾಡ, ಜೂ. 27: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಧಾರವಾಡ, ನೀರಲಕಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಲಾ ಸಂಸತ್ತು ರಚಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
• ಮೊದಲು ಚುನಾವಣಾ ನಿಯಮಾನುಸಾರ ನಾಮಪತ್ರ ಸಲ್ಲಿಕೆ, ನಾಮಪತ್ರ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ, ನಾಮಪತ್ರ ಹಿಂಪಡೆಯುವಿಕೆ, ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಪ್ರಚಾರ, ಮತ ಎಣಿಕೆ ಇತ್ಯಾದಿ ಹಂತಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
• ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಾಚಾರ್ಯರಾದ ಡಾ.ಅನಿತಾ ರೈ ಅವರು ಶಾಲಾ ಸಂಸತ್ತಿಗೆ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞಾವಿಧಿ ಬೋಧಿಸಿ, “ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬರಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಯಕತ್ವದ ಗುಣಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಮತದಾನದ ಅರಿವನ್ನು ಮೂಡಿಸಲು ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ” ಎಂದು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಪಟ್ಟರು.
• ಸಂಸತ್ತು ರಚನೆಯ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಶಾಲೆಯ ಸಮಾಜ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ವಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು.
