Dharwad, Sec. 25: The 150th anniversary of the historic national anthem ‘Vande Mataram’ was celebrated at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Sattur.
- Sri Srinivasa Nadigere, Retired Bank Officer and Provincial Vyavastha Pramukh of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (Karnataka Uttar Pradesh) was present as the Chief Guest.
- Parents, teachers and students participated in this celebration and at 11:00 am everyone sang ‘Vande Mataram’.
- The Chief Guest spoke about the significance and historical background of ‘Vande Mataram’. He explained the role and importance of this song in awakening patriotism during the freedom movement
- Sri Gururaja Agadi, School Convener, shared valuable information about the history of ‘Vande Mataram’, its origin and the circumstances under which it was formed. He recalled the pre-independence situation where people were afraid to even sing ‘Vande Mataram’; However, he said, the song has continued to inspire courage and patriotism in the minds of people.
ಧಾರವಾಡ, ಸೆ. 25: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಸತ್ತೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗೀತೆ ‘ವಂದೇ ಮಾತರಂ’ನ 150ನೇ ವರ್ಷದ ಸಂಭ್ರಮಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
- ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕ ಸಂಘದ (ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಉತ್ತರ ಪ್ರಾಂತ) ಪ್ರಾಂತ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾ ಪ್ರಮುಖ್ ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ ನಾಡಿಗೇರ್ ಅವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
- ಈ ಸಂಭ್ರಮಾಚರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪೋಷಕರು, ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 11:00 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಒಗ್ಗೂಡಿ ‘ವಂದೇ ಮಾತರಂ’ ಗೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿದರು.
- ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ‘ವಂದೇ ಮಾತರಂ’ನ ಮಹತ್ವ ಮತ್ತು ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಚಳವಳಿಯ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಜಾಗೃತಗೊಳಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಗೀತೆಯು ವಹಿಸಿದ ಪಾತ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ಅದರ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಅವರು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು
- ಶಾಲಾ ಸಂಚಾಲಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಗುರುರಾಜ ಅಗಡಿ ಅವರು, ‘ವಂದೇ ಮಾತರಂ’ನ ಇತಿಹಾಸ, ಅದರ ಉಗಮ ಮತ್ತು ರಚನೆಯಾದ ಸಂದರ್ಭಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಮೌಲ್ಯಯುತ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯಪೂರ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರು ‘ವಂದೇ ಮಾತರಂ’ ಹಾಡಲು ಕೂಡ ಭಯಪಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಅವರು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿದರು; ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ, ಈ ಗೀತೆಯು ಜನರ ಮನದಲ್ಲಿ ಧೈರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸುತ್ತಲೇ ಬಂದಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
