Dharwad, Sep. 1: The inaugural program of Vidya Bharati All India Mathematics Science Fair and Culture Festival was held herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Dharwad, Neeralkatti. Speaking at the inaugural program, Vidya Bharati South Central Zone Vice President S. V. Honnungura opined, “Every student has talent. If the latent talent hidden in the student is identified and given proper guidance, they can shape their future.” The principal of the school, Dr. Anita Rai said, “The Mathematical Science Fair is an educational and creative event, which will be a great platform for students to express their skills and learn new technologies.” Narasimha Galagali, who presided over the program, said, “May this fair be a foundation for students to expand their knowledge and explore new innovations.” Quizzes, material exhibitions, letter readings, experiments, cultural knowledge storytelling, speeches and sculpture art competitions related to mathematics and science will be held at the fair.
ಧಾರವಾಡ, ಸೆ. 1: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಧಾರವಾಡ, ನೀರಲಕಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾಭಾರತಿ ಅಖಿಲ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಗಣಿತ ಜ್ಞಾನ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಮೇಳ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾಸ್ತಾವಿಕ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನಾಡಿದ ವಿದ್ಯಾಭಾರತಿ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಮಧ್ಯ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರೀಯ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಎಸ್. ವಿ. ಹೊನ್ನುಂಗುರ ಅವರು, “ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಯಲ್ಲೂ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಡಗಿರುವ ಸುಪ್ತ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಯನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಸೂಕ್ತ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಭವಿಷ್ಯ ರೂಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ” ಎಂದು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಪಟ್ಟರು. ಉದ್ಘಾಟಕರಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಾಚಾರ್ಯರಾದ ಡಾ. ಅನಿತಾ ರೈ ಅವರು, ಗಣಿತ ಜ್ಞಾನ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಮೇಳವು ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಸೃಜನಾತ್ಮಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಅಭಿವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಹೊಸ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕತೆಯನ್ನು ಅರಿಯಲು ಉತ್ತಮ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಾಗಲಿದೆ” ಎಂದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ವಹಿಸಿದ ನರಸಿಂಹ ಗಲಗಲಿ ಅವರು, “ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಲು ಹಾಗೂ ಹೊಸ ಹೊಸ ಆವಿಷ್ಕಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಅನ್ವೇಷಿಸಲು ಈ ಮೇಳವು ಅಡಿಪಾಯವಾಗಲಿ” ಎಂದು ಹರಸಿದರು. ಮೇಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಣಿತ ಜ್ಞಾನ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟಂತೆ ರಸಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ, ವಸ್ತು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ, ಪತ್ರ ವಾಚನ, ಪ್ರಯೋಗಗಳು, ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಜ್ಞಾನ ಕಥಾ ಕಥನ, ಆಶುಭಾಷಣ ಹಾಗೂ ಮೂರ್ತಿ ಕಲಾ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳು ನಡೆಯಲಿವೆ.
