Dharwad, Mar. 7: “Indian culture is disappearing in modern education. Students are being influenced by Western culture. For that, it is not enough if the educational institutions only provide education. Only if human qualities are developed in children along with education can a child become a good citizen. If a person is selfish, he is like an animal. Only if he is selfless does he become a good human being. Indian culture is an exemplary culture for others. The heavy responsibility of preserving and developing that culture lies on today’s children,” said Param Pujya Sri Mokshaatmaananda Swamiji of Belgaum Ramakrishna Mission Ashram, blessing them. He spoke after presiding over the Sankalpotsava program for the 10th and 12th grade students of the year 2025-26 held at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Dharwad, Neeralkatti. Dr Anita Rai, the principal of the school, taught the children the Sankalpa. Raghavendra Ambekar, the school secretary, presided over the function and delivered the introductory remarks. The program included programs such as Veda Ghosha, Bhagavad Gita recitation, Sankalpa teaching, Mata-Pitru Pada Pooja, and distribution of mementoes.
ಧಾರವಾಡ, ಮಾ. 7: “ಆಧುನಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರ ಮರೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪಾಶ್ಚಿಮಾತ್ಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ಪ್ರಭಾವಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಗಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಕೇವಲ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀಡಿದರೆ ಸಾಲದು. ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯತ್ವದ ಗುಣಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಿದರೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಮಗು ಸತ್ಪ್ರಜೆಯಾಗಿ ರೂಪುಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ. ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಸ್ವಾರ್ಥಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವನು ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಮಾನ. ನಿಸ್ವಾರ್ಥಿ ಆಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಆತ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬರಿಗೆ ಅನುಕರಣೀಯವಾದ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಆ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿ ಬೆಳೆಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವ ಗುರುತರ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ಇಂದಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮೇಲಿದೆ” ಎಂದು ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ ರಾಮಕೃಷ್ಣ ಮಿಷನ್ ಆಶ್ರಮದ ಪರಮಪೂಜ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ ಮೋಕ್ಷಾತ್ಮಾನಂದ ಸ್ವಾಮೀಜಿ ಇವರು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದರು. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಧಾರವಾಡ, ನೀರಲಕಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ 2025-26ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನ 10 ಮತ್ತು 12 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪೋತ್ಸವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ದಿವ್ಯ ಸಾನ್ನಿಧ್ಯ ವಹಿಸಿ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಶಾಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಾಚಾರ್ಯರಾದ ಡಾ. ಅನಿತಾ ರೈ ಅವರು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪವನ್ನು ಬೋಧಿಸಿದರು. ಘನ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ವಹಿಸಿದ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳಾದ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಅಂಬೇಕರ ಪ್ರಾಸ್ತಾವಿಕ ನುಡಿಗಳನ್ನಾಡಿದರು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ವೇದ ಘೋಷ, ಭಗವದ್ಗೀತೆ ಪಠಣ, ಸಂಕಲ್ಪ ಬೋಧನೆ, ಮಾತಾ-ಪಿತೃ ಪಾದಪೂಜೆ, ಸ್ಮರಣಿಕೆ ವಿತರಣೆ ಮುಂತಾದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು ನಡೆದವು.
