By celebrating Raksha Bandhan festival, everyone should live in unity without any discrimination of caste, creed or language”, said Sri Narasappa Bhattangi, Dharwad District Seva Pramukh of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. He spoke as the spokesperson of the Raksha Bandhan festival held at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Dharwad, Neeralkatti. “Raksha Bandhan is a festival that instils the feeling that every Indian is a brother and sister and that it is everyone’s duty to protect the motherland, Bharatambe. This festival instils national consciousness and love for the country through brotherhood.”
ಧಾರವಾಡ, ಆ. 29: “ವಿವಿಧತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏಕತೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ದೇಶ ನಮ್ಮದು. ಭಾರತೀಯರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಸಹೋದರರಂತೆ ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಸಾಮರಸ್ಯದಿಂದ ಬದುಕಿದರೆ ಭಾರತ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯ ಪಥದತ್ತ ಸಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ರಕ್ಷಾ ಬಂಧನ ಉತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಜಾತಿ, ಮತ, ಭಾಷೆ ಎಂಬ ಭೇದ ಭಾವವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ಬಾಳುವಂತಾಗಬೇಕು” ಎಂದು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸ್ವಯಂ ಸೇವಕ ಸಂಘದ ಧಾರವಾಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಸೇವಾ ಪ್ರಮುಖರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ನರಸಪ್ಪ ಭಟ್ಟಂಗಿ ಇವರು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಪಟ್ಟರು. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಧಾರವಾಡ, ನೀರಲಕಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ರಕ್ಷಾ ಬಂಧನ ಉತ್ಸವದ ವಕ್ತಾರರಾಗಿ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. “ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಭಾರತೀಯನೂ ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರ ಸಹೋದರಿಯರೆಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಿ ಮಾತೃಸ್ವರೂಪಿಯಾದ ಭಾರತಾಂಬೆಯ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಎಲ್ಲರ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ ಎಂಬ ಭಾವನೆಯನ್ನು ಮೂಡಿಸುವ ಹಬ್ಬ ರಕ್ಷಾಬಂಧನವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಹಬ್ಬವು ಸಹೋದರತೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಪ್ರಜ್ಞೆ, ದೇಶ ಪ್ರೇಮವನ್ನು ಮೂಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ” ಎಂದರು.
