Dharwad, Aug. 19: Tulsidas Jayanti was celebrated at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Dharwad, Neeralkatti.
- Students explained the life of Tulsidas by saying, “Tulsidas is known as a Hindu spiritual guru. The great poet Tulsidas spent his entire life as a devotee of Lord Rama. Devotion, religion, ethics, humanity and an ideal life have great importance in his literature.”
- Talking about Tulsidas’ two great works, Ramcharita Manas and Hanuman Chalisa, they said, “These two great works of Tulsidas give courage and peace to the mind when the mind is shaken by fear. Tulsidas brought the Ramayana into the language of the common people and showed the path of devotion to crores of people.”
- They also sang Tulsidas’ dohas melodiously.
ಧಾರವಾಡ, ಆ. 19: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಧಾರವಾಡ, ನೀರಲಕಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತುಳಸಿದಾಸ ಜಯಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
- ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು “ತುಳಸೀದಾಸರನ್ನು ಹಿಂದೂ ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ ಗುರು ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಮಹಾಕವಿ ತುಳಸಿದಾಸರು ತಮ್ಮ ಇಡೀ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ರಾಮಭಕ್ತರಾಗಿಯೇ ಕಳೆದಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಕ್ತಿ, ಧರ್ಮ, ನೀತಿ, ಮಾನವೀಯತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆದರ್ಶ ಜೀವನಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಮಹತ್ವವಿದೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ತುಳಸಿದಾಸರ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.
- ತುಳಸಿದಾಸರ ಎರಡು ಮಹಾನ್ ಕೃತಿಗಳಾದ ರಾಮಚರಿತ ಮಾನಸ ಮತ್ತು ಹನುಮಾನ್ ಚಾಲೀಸಾ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ, “ಮನಸ್ಸು ಭಯದಿಂದ ತತ್ತರಿಸುವ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತುಳಸಿದಾಸರ ಈ ಎರಡು ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಕೃತಿಗಳು ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಧೈರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ. ತುಳಿಸಿದಾಸರು ರಾಮಾಯಣವನ್ನು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯರ ಭಾಷೆಗೆ ತಂದು ಕೋಟ್ಯಂತರ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಭಕ್ತಿಯ ಮಾರ್ಗ ತೋರಿದರು” ಎಂದರು.
- ಹಾಗೂ ತುಳಸಿದಾಸರ ದೋಹೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸುಶ್ರಾವ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹಾಡಿದರು.
