Dharwad, Aug. 14: “The partition of the country was a national tragedy that occurred at midnight on August 14, 1947, when India was celebrating its independence. This was not just an event that divided India. It was a great betrayal of the thousands of martyred patriots who sacrificed their lives for freedom. We all need to join hands in the effort to reunite the divided India,” said Shri Ramanagara, Controller of Examinations, Dharwad Agricultural University. He spoke as the spokesperson for the Akhand Bharat Sankalp Day program held at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Dharwad, Neeralkatta on the midnight of August 14. On this occasion, the ‘Midnight Panjina Meravanige’ by the school students was the highlight of the program. Sri Sunil Shirali, a senior teacher of the school, preached the Sankalp.
ಧಾರವಾಡ, ಆ. 14: “1947 ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 14ರ ಮಧ್ಯರಾತ್ರಿ ಭಾರತಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಬಂತೆಂದು ಸಂಭ್ರಮಿಸುವ ಆ ಕ್ಷಣದ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಘಟಿಸಿದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಹಾ ದುರಂತವೇ ದೇಶ ವಿಭಜನೆ. ಇದು ಕೇವಲ ಭಾರತವನ್ನು ಭಗ್ನಗೊಳಿಸಿದ ಘಟನೆ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲ. ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬಲಿದಾನ ಗೈದ ಸಹಸ್ರಾರು ಹುತಾತ್ಮ ದೇಶಭಕ್ತರಿಗೆ ಎಸಗಿದ ಮಹಾ ದ್ರೋಹವಾಗಿದೆ. ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ವಿಭಜನೆಗೊಂಡ ಭಾರತವನ್ನು ಪುನ: ಜೋಡಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಕ್ಕೆ ಕೈಜೋಡಿಸಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ” ಎಂದು ಧಾರವಾಡ ಕೃಷಿ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಮನಗೌಡ ಇವರು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಪಟ್ಟರು. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಧಾರವಾಡ, ನೀರಲಕಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಗಸ್ಟ್ 14ರ ಮಧ್ಯರಾತ್ರಿಯಂದು ನಡೆದ ಅಖಂಡ ಭಾರತ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪ ದಿನದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ವಕ್ತಾರರಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಇದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಲೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದ ಮಧ್ಯರಾತ್ರಿ ಪಂಜಿನ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ವಿಶೇಷತೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಶಾಲೆಯ ಹಿರಿಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸುನಿಲ್ ಶಿರಾಲಿ ಇವರು ಸಂಕಲ್ಪವನ್ನು ಬೋಧಿಸಿದರು.
