Dharwad, Aug. 4: Vidya Bharati Karnataka, Dharwad District Level Sports Meet was held at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Dharwad, Neeralkatti. Teacher Sri Anand Patil inaugurated the sports meet and said, “Sports help in physical and mental development. Through this, it enhances the spirit of competition, courage and adventurous qualities. Only through continuous hard work can one achieve success in sports.” Dharwad District Physical Education Head Bhimappa Malligwad, Dharwad District Physical Education President Sarvesh Pujara, physical education teachers and competitors of various sports were present at the program.
ಧಾರವಾಡ, ಆ. 4: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಧಾರವಾಡ, ನೀರಲಕಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾಭಾರತಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ, ಧಾರವಾಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಮಟ್ಟದ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಕೂಟ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಆನಂದ ಪಾಟೀಲ ಇವರು ಕ್ರೀಡಾಕೂಟವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ, “ಕ್ರೀಡೆಯು ದೈಹಿಕ, ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಾ ಮನೋಭಾವ, ಧೈರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಹಸ ಗುಣಗಳನ್ನು ವೃದ್ಧಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ನಿರಂತರ ಕಠಿಣ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನದಿಂದ ಮಾತ್ರ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ” ಎಂದು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಪಟ್ಟರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಧಾರವಾಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಶಾರೀರಿಕ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಭೀಮಪ್ಪ ಮಲ್ಲಿಗವಾಡ, ಧಾರವಾಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಶಾರೀರಿಕ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಸರ್ವೇಶ ಪೂಜಾರ, ದೈಹಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ವಿವಿಧ ಆಟೋಟಗಳ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
