Dharwad, Jan. 15: Sankranti festival was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Dharwad, Neeralkatti. Speaking as the chief spokesperson on the occasion, teacher Sri Santosh Sannammanvara said, “India is the home of festivals. Makar Sankranti is a festival celebrated all over the country. The celebration of the festival increases love, trust and bond among people. On the day of Sankranti, relatives and friends come together. Sharing sweets with each other strengthens mutual relations. But in the present times, the celebration of festivals is losing its former excitement and enthusiasm. We need to make an effort to bring that excitement and enthusiasm back.”
ಧಾರವಾಡ, ಜ. 15: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಧಾರವಾಡ, ನೀರಲಕಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಕ್ರಾಂತಿ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಅಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಆ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ವಕ್ತಾರರಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಂತೋಷ ಸಣ್ಣಮ್ಮನ್ನವರ ಅವರು “ಭಾರತ ದೇಶ ಹಬ್ಬಗಳ ತವರೂರಾಗಿದೆ. ಮಕರ ಸಂಕ್ರಾಂತಿ ಇಡೀ ದೇಶದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಆಚರಿಸುವ ಹಬ್ಬ. ಹಬ್ಬದ ಆಚರಣೆಯಿಂದ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರೀತಿ, ವಿಶ್ವಾಸ ಮತ್ತು ಬಾಂಧವ್ಯ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಸಂಕ್ರಾಂತಿಯ ದಿನದಂದು ಸಂಬಂಧಿಕರು, ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರು ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಸೇರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಸಿಹಿ ಪದಾರ್ಥಗಳನ್ನು ಒಬ್ಬರಿಗೊಬ್ಬರು ಹಂಚಿ ತಿನ್ನುವುದರಿಂದ ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಸಂಬಂಧಗಳು ಗಟ್ಟಿಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತವೆ. ಆದರೆ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಬ್ಬಗಳ ಆಚರಣೆಯು ಹಿಂದಿನ ಸಂಭ್ರಮ, ಸಡಗರವನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಆ ಸಂಭ್ರಮ, ಸಡಗರವನ್ನು ಮರಳಿ ತರುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನವನ್ನು ನಾವು ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ” ಎಂದು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಪಟ್ಟರು.
