Dharwad, Nov. 23: “Vasudaiva Kutumbakam is the message given by India to the world. It is a very beautiful concept to think of the world as one family. In times of crisis like Corona, when everyone was thinking about selfishness, our country gave a helping hand to the entire world. Only when education becomes a medium to instil culture and morality in children, such a broad mindset can be developed in the citizens. Such work is being done by the prestigious organization Rashtrotthana Parishat,” said Prof. S. R. Mahadeva Prasanna, Director of IIT, Dharwad.He spoke after inaugurating the ‘Rashtrotsava’ held herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Dharwad.The Rashtrotsava was held herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Dharwad under the theme ‘Youth Power, the Future of the Nation’.Sri N. Dinesh Hegde, General Secretary of the Rashtrotthana Parishat, Bangalore, who presided over the program, wished, “The Rashtrotthana Parishat aims to build a healthy, sustainable society. The Parishad is working in that direction. May the children who learn in Rashtrotthana become the assets of the country.”Sri Raghavendra Ambekar, Secretary of the school, introduced the social work of Rashtrotthana in his introductory remarks. Dr. Anita Rai, Principal of the Vidya Kendra, read the annual report. Smt. Deepa Kulkarni presented the Pratibha Puraskar.The program included cultural programs such as Dance, Mallagamba, Karate, Yogasana, Drama, Veeragase, Kansale, Yakshagana by the students, along with a book exhibition and sale and a blood donation camp.
ಧಾರವಾಡ, ನ. 23: “ವಸುಧೈವ ಕುಟುಂಬಕಂ ಎಂಬುದು ಜಗತ್ತಿಗೆ ಭಾರತವು ನೀಡಿದ ಸಂದೇಶವಾಗಿದೆ. ವಿಶ್ವವನ್ನೇ ಒಂದು ಕುಟುಂಬವಾಗಿ ಭಾವಿಸುವುದು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಸುಂದರವಾದ ಪರಿಕಲ್ಪನೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಕೊರೋನಾದಂತಹ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಸ್ವಾರ್ಥ ಚಿಂತನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶವು ಇಡೀ ಜಗತ್ತಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಹಸ್ತವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿತು. ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವು ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರ, ಸಚ್ಚಾರಿತ್ರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸುವ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮವಾದಾಗ ಮಾತ್ರ ಇಂತಹ ವಿಶಾಲ ಮನೋಭಾವನೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳೆಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ. ಅಂತಹ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಾದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ” ಎಂದು ಧಾರವಾಡದ ಐ.ಐ.ಟಿ.ಯ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಪ್ರೊ. ಎಸ್. ಆರ್. ಮಹಾದೇವ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನ ಇವರು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಪಟ್ಟರು.ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಧಾರವಾಡದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ‘ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಸವ’ವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಧಾರವಾಡದಲ್ಲಿ ‘ಯುವಶಕ್ತಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಭವಿಷ್ಯ’ ಎಂಬ ವಿಷಯದಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು.ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ವಹಿಸಿದ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ನಾ. ದಿನೇಶ್ ಹೆಗಡೆ ಅವರು,”ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ ಸ್ವಸ್ಥ-ಸುಸ್ಥಿರ ಸಮಾಜನಿರ್ಮಾಣದ ಗುರಿಯನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಆ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಷತ್ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲಿತ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ದೇಶದ ಆಸ್ತಿಗಳಾಗಲಿ” ಎಂದು ಶುಭ ಹಾರೈಸಿದರು. ಶಾಲೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಅಂಬೇಕರ್ ಇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಸ್ತಾವಿಕ ನುಡಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನದ ಸಮಾಜಮುಖಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಪ್ರಾಚಾರ್ಯರಾದ ಡಾ. ಅನಿತಾ ರೈ ಅವರು ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ವರದಿಯನ್ನು ವಾಚಿಸಿದರು. ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿ ದೀಪಾ ಕುಲಕರ್ಣಿ ಪ್ರತಿಭಾ ಪುರಸ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದ ನೃತ್ಯ, ಮಲ್ಲಗಂಬ, ಕರಾಟೆ, ಯೋಗಾಸನ, ನಾಟಕ, ವೀರಗಾಸೆ, ಕಂಸಾಳೆ, ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನ ಮುಂತಾದ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪುಸ್ತಕ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾರಾಟ ಹಾಗೂ ರಕ್ತದಾನ ಶಿಬಿರ ನಡೆಯಿತು.
