Dharwad, Feb 2 : M. M. Joshi Institute of Ophthalmology and Karnataka Incubation Foundation organized a Free Eye Check-up Camp herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra, Neeralakatti under the joint aegis. 150 children from 23 schools in 19 surrounding villages benefited from this camp. Among them 71 children were found to be in need of spectacles, which will be provided free of charge.
ಧಾರವಾಡ, ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 2 : ಎಂ. ಎಂ. ಜೋಶಿ ನೇತ್ರ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಇನ್ಕ್ಯೂಬೇಷನ್ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ಸಂಯುಕ್ತ ಆಶ್ರಯದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ, ನೀರಲಕಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಚಿತ ನೇತ್ರ ತಪಾಸಣಾ ಶಿಬಿರವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲ 19 ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳ 23 ಶಾಲೆಗಳಿಂದ 150 ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಶಿಬಿರದ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡರು. ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ 71 ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡಕದ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿದ್ದು, ಅದನ್ನು ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲಾಗುವುದು.
