Dharwad, Jan. 26: “The success of democracy is in the hands of the common people. Therefore, the youth and students of the country should understand their responsibility and act accordingly. Today’s children are the citizens of tomorrow, so the heavy responsibility of building a strong nation lies with today’s children,” said retired army officer Sri Deepak S. Kateera. He spoke about India’s progress towards development after the Kargil victory. He spoke as the inaugurator of the Republic Day program herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Dharwad, Neeralkatti. The program included parade by the NCC team, dumbbell display, yoga dance, patriotic song singing, mass dance and other patriotic performances.
ಧಾರವಾಡ, ಜ. 26: “ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವದ ಯಶಸ್ಸು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಜನರ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ದೇಶದ ಯುವ ಜನತೆ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಹೊಣೆಯನ್ನು ಅರಿತು ನಡೆಯಬೇಕು, ಇಂದಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೇ ನಾಳಿನ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಾದ್ದರಿಂದ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುವ ಗುರುತರ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ಇಂದಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮೇಲಿದೆ” ಎಂದು ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಸೇನಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಶ್ರೀ ದೀಪಕ ಎಸ್. ಕಟೀರಾ ಇವರು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ ಪಟ್ಟರು. ಕಾರ್ಗಿಲ್ ವಿಜಯದ ನಂತರ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಪಥದತ್ತ ಸಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಭಾರತದ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಧಾರವಾಡ, ನೀರಲಕಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗಣರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಭ್ಯಾಗತರಾಗಿ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಎನ್.ಸಿ.ಸಿ. ತಂಡದಿಂದ ಪಥಸಂಚಲನ, ಡಂಬೆಲ್ಸ್ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ, ಯೋಗ ನೃತ್ಯ, ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿ ಗೀತೆ ಗಾಯನ, ಸಾಮೂಹಿಕ ನೃತ್ಯ ಮುಂತಾದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಭಕ್ತಿ ಹೊಮ್ಮಿಸುವ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನಗಳು ನಡೆದವು.
