Dharwad, Aug. 2: The first day of Sanskrit Week was celebrated and inaugurated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Dharwad, Neeralkatti. Rigveda Stotra, Surya Sukta, Ganapati Upanishad were recited.
Day 2: Ganesh Stotra, Shiva Manas Stotra, Ganesh Pancharatna Stotra were recited by the students.
Day 3: On the third day of Sanskrit Week, Devi Gnana Kshamapana Stotra was recited by the students and Sanskrit Niti Katha was recited.
Day 4: On the fourth day of Sanskrit Week, students recited the 9th chapter of Bhagavad Gita and Parvathareddi brothers Arjuna and Amogha, who have memorized 18 chapters of Bhagavad Gita, recited the shlokas asked by the students and teachers.
Day 5: On the fifth day of Sanskrit Week, Sanskrit Shloka Antakshari was performed by the students.
Day 6: On the sixth day of Sanskrit Week, students performed a Sanskrit short play on Vishwa Guru Bharat and environmental protection.
Closing Ceremony:
On the closing ceremony of Sanskrit Week, the school principal Dr. Anita Rai said, “Sanskrit is the mother language of all the languages of India. Sanskrit’s contribution to the literary world is immense. We should increase our knowledge by learning more and more languages.” Students Karthika K. ‘Importance of Sanskrit Language’ and Vinayak Badigera delivered a Sanskrit speech on the topic ‘Farmers are the backbone of the country’. Activities like hymn recitation, Bhagavad Gita recitation, Sanskrit short drama performance, Shloka Antakshari, speech, Sanskrit Niti Katha recitation etc. were held during the seven days of Sanskrit Week.
ಧಾರವಾಡ, ಆ. 2: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಧಾರವಾಡ, ನೀರಲಕಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಸಪ್ತಾಹದ ಮೊದಲ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಿ ಸಪ್ತಾಹವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಋಗ್ವೇದ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ, ಸೂರ್ಯ ಸೂಕ್ತ, ಗಣಪತಿ ಉಪನಿಷತ್ ಪಠಣ ನಡೆಯಿತು.
2ನೇ ದಿನ: ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದ ಗಣೇಶ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ, ಶಿವ ಮಾನಸ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ, ಗಣೇಶ ಪಂಚರತ್ನ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ ಪಠಣ ನಡೆಯಿತು.
3ನೇ ದಿನ: ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಸಪ್ತಾಹ ದ ಮೂರನೇ ದಿನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದ ದೇವಿ ಅಪರಾಧ ಕ್ಷಮಾಪನ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ ಪಠಣ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ನೀತಿ ಕಥಾ ವಾಚನ ನಡೆಯಿತು.
4ನೇ ದಿನ: ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಸಪ್ತಾಹ ದ ನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ದಿನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದ ಭಗವದ್ಗೀತೆ 9ನೇ ಅಧ್ಯಾಯದ ಪಠಣ ಹಾಗೂ ಭಗವದ್ಗೀತೆಯ 18 ಅಧ್ಯಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಠಸ್ಥ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಪರ್ವತರೆಡ್ಡಿ ಸಹೋದರರಾದ ಅರ್ಜುನ ಮತ್ತು ಅಮೋಘ ಇವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಕೇಳುವ ಶ್ಲೋಕವನ್ನು ಪಠಿಸಿದರು.
5ನೇ ದಿನ: ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಸಪ್ತಾಹದ ಐದನೇ ದಿನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಶ್ಲೋಕ ಅಂತಾಕ್ಷರಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು.
6ನೇ ದಿನ: ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಸಪ್ತಾಹ ದ ಆರನೇ ದಿನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ವಿಶ್ವ ಗುರು ಭಾರತ ಹಾಗೂ ಪರಿಸರ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಕುರಿತು ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಕಿರು ನಾಟಕವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು.
ಸಮಾರೋಪ:
ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಸಪ್ತಾಹದ ಸಮಾರೋಪ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಂದು ಶಾಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಾಚಾರ್ಯರಾದ ಡಾ. ಅನಿತಾ ರೈ ಇವರು, “ಭಾರತದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಭಾಷೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ತಾಯಿ ಭಾಷೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತದ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ಅಪಾರವಾದದ್ದು. ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಭಾಷೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲಿಯುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು” ಎಂದು ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಾದ ಕಾರ್ತಿಕ ಕೆ. ‘ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಭಾಷೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವ’ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿನಾಯಕ ಬಡಿಗೇರ ಇವರು ‘ರೈತ ದೇಶದ ಬೆನ್ನೆಲುಬು’ ಎಂಬ ವಿಷಯದ ಕುರಿತು ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಸಪ್ತಾಹದ ಏಳು ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ ಪಠಣ, ಭಗವದ್ಗೀತೆ ಪಠಣ, ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಕಿರು ನಾಟಕ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ, ಶ್ಲೋಕ ಅಂತಾಕ್ಷರಿ, ಭಾಷಣ, ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ನೀತಿ ಕಥಾ ವಾಚನ ಮುಂತಾದ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳು ಜರುಗಿದವು.
