Dharwad, Aug. 2: Students of Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Dharwad, Neeralkatti participated in the CBSE Cluster Level Eighth Division Kabaddi Tournament held here at Sangana Basava International Residential School, Vijayapura and secured first position in the U17 category and were selected for the national level. Varun Hiregoudar has won the Best Rider award. He will participate in the national level Kabaddi competition to be held in Bihar in September.
ಧಾರವಾಡ, ಆ. 2: ಸಂಗನಬಸವ ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ವಸತಿ ಶಾಲೆ, ವಿಜಯಪುರ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಸಿ.ಬಿ. ಎಸ್.ಇ. ಕ್ಲಸ್ಟರ್ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಎಂಟನೇ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಕಬಡ್ಡಿ ಪಂದ್ಯಾವಳಿಯ 17 ವರ್ಷದ ಒಳಗಿನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರಲಕಟ್ಟಿ, ಧಾರವಾಡದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಸ್ಥಾನವನ್ನು ಗಳಿಸಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಮಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾಗಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ವರುಣ ಹಿರೇಗೌಡರ್ ಈತನು ಉತ್ತಮ ರೈಡರ್ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದಿರುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಸಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಹಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಲಿರುವ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಮಟ್ಟದ ಕಬಡ್ಡಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
