Dharwad, 7: C.V. Raman’s birthday was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Dharwad, Neeralakatti. Sri Ananda Patil, the science teacher of the school, speaking about C.V. Raman, he said, “C.V. Raman was the first Indian scientist to win the Nobel Prize. He received this award in the field of physics for his research on ‘Raman Effect’. He played an important role in the development of India in the field of science and physics.”
ಧಾರವಾಡ, ನ. 7: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಧಾರವಾಡ, ನೀರಲಕಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿ.ವಿ. ರಾಮನ್ ಜನ್ಮ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.ಶಾಲೆಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಆನಂದ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಇವರು ಸಿ.ವಿ. ರಾಮನ್ ಅವರ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ,”ಸಿ.ವಿ. ರಾಮನ್ನರು ನೋಬೆಲ್ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಗಳಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಪ್ರಥಮ ಭಾರತೀಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿ. ಈ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ‘ರಾಮನ್ ಎಫೆಕ್ಟ್’ ಎಂಬ ಸಂಶೋಧನೆಗಾಗಿ ಭೌತಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಡೆದರು. ಅವರು ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಭೌತಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತದ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರ ವಹಿಸಿದರು” ಎಂದರು.
